I. Scope of Application
The terms and conditions set out in this document apply to the relationship between the potential guest, hereinafter referred to as the Client, and Matias Nature Village, from the moment of the reservation request until the end of the stay.
In situations not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the applicable legislation will be followed.

II. Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made by phone, email, through our website, Facebook, and booking engines. Reservations made by phone, email, website, and Facebook are subject to availability.
After the reservation request, if there are available rooms, Matias Nature Village will provide a reservation transaction code.
Matias Nature Village only guarantees the Client the availability of a room of the reserved type.

III. Arrival and Departure
Matias Nature Village provides the reserved accommodation from 3:00 PM on the expected arrival date.
On the departure date, the Client must vacate the room of people and belongings, without any damage, by 1:00 PM.
Check-in and check-out can occur outside the defined hours, provided availability is verified with Matias Nature Village staff.
If the room is not vacated by 1:00 PM on the departure day without prior justification or consent from Matias Nature Village, a compensation equivalent to the price of one night’s stay will be immediately charged. The Client may only use the room during this period if there is room availability. Otherwise, the Client must pay the compensation and vacate the room as soon as possible.
Matias Nature Village does not provide 24-hour reception service. We kindly ask guests to inform us of their expected arrival time.
Upon check-in, a keychain will be provided with two keys: one for the main door of the property and one for the automatic gate remote. If one of the keys is lost, the guest must report the incident immediately, and the cost of the key will be charged. The keys must be returned at check-out.

IV. Terms of Use
Only the persons listed on the accommodation reservation will be entitled to use the room. Temporary visits to our guests are only allowed with prior consent from the management of Matias Nature Village.
The Client and any accompanying persons, if applicable, must use the accommodation in a suitable manner, with care and consideration.
The Client and any accompanying persons, if applicable, must treat other guests with consideration and respect the regulations provided in each accommodation.
Matias Nature Village offers its guests access to a kitchen, living room, and patio.
Any damages, malfunctions, or thefts associated with the Client will be charged, based on the value of the damages.
Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay at Matias Nature Village.
Matias Nature Village is not responsible for any personal belongings that may be lost within its premises.
The Client must always close the access doors to the accommodation and ensure that they are properly closed.
In case of an emergency, the Client should call the provided contact numbers.

V. Parking
Matias Nature Village has private parking available.

VI. Pets
Pets are allowed in our accommodations, provided they are communicated in advance and the appropriate fee is paid for each pet.
If the guest introduces unknown animals into the accommodation, Matias Nature Village reserves the right to inform the Client of the obligation to pay the pet fee, with no refund for amounts previously paid for the accommodation during the reserved stay period.

VII. Noise
Out of respect and consideration for all guests, special attention is requested to maintain silence in the social areas.
Between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, activities that cause noise disruptive to other guests are not allowed, in accordance with the General Noise Regulations.

VIII. Access to the Room by Matias Nature Village
The Matias Nature Village team will not enter the room during the Client’s stay.

IX. Price of Stay and Other Charges
The price of the stay to be paid by the Client is the consideration for the use of the accommodation between arrival and departure.
The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Client actually uses the accommodation.
The applicable rates will be the agreed prices or the prices set in the Matias Nature Village price list in effect on the reservation request date. Matias Nature Village reserves the right to update the prices and inform the Client in advance.
All taxes and amounts related to the stay are subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate, unless otherwise stated.
Matias Nature Village provides information and ongoing promotions on its website.
Offers and promotions are temporary and subject to specific conditions.
Specific payment conditions may apply to travel agencies, tour operators, and other entities.

X. Payment Conditions
The payment for the stay and extra services must be made at check-in.
If the duration of the Client’s stay is not specified, the price for each night must be paid by 12:00 PM on the check-out day.
Matias Nature Village accepts payment by cash, debit card, credit card, and bank transfer.
Checks are not accepted.
Specific payment conditions may apply to travel agencies, tour operators, and other entities.

XI. Complaints
Any complaints or suggestions should be addressed to the management.
If a defect is found in the Client’s accommodation, Matias Nature Village has the right to repair it and relocate the guest to accommodation of the same category as originally contracted. Only defects that could compromise the service level and quality of Matias Nature Village will be considered.

XII. Liability of Matias Nature Village
Matias Nature Village is responsible for ensuring the appropriate hygiene, cleanliness, and safety conditions of the accommodation.
Matias Nature Village is not responsible for personal belongings that may be lost within its premises.
Matias Nature Village assumes no responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Client in case of electronic payment data transmission, except in the case of wrongful conduct.
Matias Nature Village will not be responsible for any delay in room availability in case of force majeure. Force majeure includes situations that make room availability impossible or more difficult, such as strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the room or accommodation.

XIII. Notification Obligation
In case of theft, property damage, fire, flooding, or other damage to the accommodation, the Client must immediately inform the Matias Nature Village team and do everything possible to help resolve the situation.

XIV. Termination of Stay
Matias Nature Village has the right to terminate the stay if the Client fails to pay the due amount or if the Client exhibits behavior that affects the well-being, peace, or hygiene of the establishment.
The Client may request the end of their stay at any time until 8:00 PM, for it to take effect 12 hours from the following day.

XV. Data Protection
The Client’s personal data, and that of any accompanying persons, if applicable, will be stored and processed by Matias Nature Village and its service providers, in accordance with the law, for the services requested by the Client and for marketing campaigns.
The Client has the right to object at any time to the use of personal data for advertising purposes by informing Matias Nature Village.
Unless otherwise required by law, the Client’s personal data will be deleted once the legal retention period ends.

XVI. General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the Client’s stay at Matias Nature Village and the use of the accommodation.
The invalidity of one or more of the provisions above does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one, as close as possible to the commercial and legal intentions of the parties, or by the applicable Portuguese legislation.
